Actors As Athletes:  Yoga, Suzuki Training and other Physical Work to Overcome Actors Cultural Stasis

In this workshop we will look at the current condition of young actors as they come into performance programs, the demands on actors bodies in the professional world, and how to train the disparity between the two.  Utilizing primarily yoga and basic Suzuki movement techniques in an experiential workshop, participants will leave awakened and rejuvenated -- along with some new tools for developing actor bodies and minds.  Please wear movement clothes and bring water to this hands-on workshop. Observation is also encouraged.
